The Music Vlogger: Rabsing

I have always dreamed of being a professional singer and to have big concerts (until now)....and share my talent with others. So, since being a professional singer is still yet to unfold, I made this to expose my talent!

Music has been a part of my life from the very beginning. Mom said, she always sings every time she carries me. Maybe that's the reason... I've started singing when I was 6 years old and was really eager to join singing competitions; however, that time...I was not prepared. I got my first champion trophy when I was 11...and it was the start of my singing career. I got some events/shows for me to perform and gave way to other careers such as modeling, theater acting, dancing and so much more! This gave me the courage and confidence to take any challenges that comes my way!

I joined Pinoy Dream Academy (PDA) audition in Cebu during my 3rd year in college and out of thousands of auditionees, they have only chosen 20 auditionees that went to the next stage and I'm glad to be one of the 20 auditionees. Unfortunately, my path going to my long dream ended when the judges didn't choose me for the top 3. However, it did not stop me from pursuing what I love...and that's why I made this music vlog!

Music Vlogging Experience

I started my music vlogging hobby when I was in College. I used YouTube for this hobby; however, it was not a consistent vlogging update because I still don't have the gadgets to make such hobby. It was until now where my sister has this digital camera and I use it to record my entries. It is still not as good as other cameras or video cameras, but this is okay. As a starter, I'm satisfied with a simple camera...as long as it's going to record. Don't worry, I'll be saving slowly for a better camera.

Is music vlogging a very challenging hobby? Hell yeah! For a first timer, it will probably take 30 to 50 takes or even more just to perfect one entry. That will be more or less 4 hours of your time spent in front of a camera. This is a total waste of time unless if you're well-oiled and thick-skinned person. Seriously, this path needs more time and determination to progress and perfect! I'm not saying I already have the skills or ability to perfect this music vlog, but I know I'll get there soon! With my talent and determination, I know I'll make it through.

This will be my New Year breakthrough. I know that this music site still has lots of flaws, but I will do my best to maintain and improve this site. I won't give up...and I will not falter. I died and I came back. This time I’ll be immortal. No one can bring me down! I won’t lose faith in my dreams. This is my time…this is my Renaissance.

Make Song Requests

I have decided to make this a more environment friendly vlog...because for me to achieve my goal, I need all of your cooperation. So, I have decided to accept song requests. Yes, I'll be accepting song requests from now on, but it will still depend if the song is in my range and if I could find a karaoke or an instrumental version of the song. I just hope I can give justice to the songs that will be requested.

Please don't spam your song requests. Don't worry, all of them will be entertained...unless if it's a really, really high song or those super fast songs. LOL! I'm into POP, Acoustic, Punk and alternative songs and more on slow songs so I hope you'll stick to that ;)

When you request your song, don't forget to write where you're from and maybe a little description of yourself and to whom the song is dedicated. Remember, this is your song request so make the most out of it!

Song requests are not just any ordinary songs. These are special songs being requested by someone for someone. A song request is very precious that you can touch not just the life of the person who requested the song and to the person being dedicated, but also other people's lives who felt and was inspired by the song. I know how important and precious these songs are so I give as much as 100% to perfect the song and give my unique style into the song.

I'll do my best to sing your requests and give justice to the songs. BTW, you may request here. This is going to be a BIG challenge for me. I'm still trying to be a good music vlogger and improve my talent...and here I am making my objective more complicated... Wish me luck!

An Update

Lately, song requests are crazy and my mom keeps on checking my site and is requesting songs. This is actually awkward, but anyways, I love mom's taste of choosing songs. Because of this I'm missing mom and dad. Someday, I'll be successful and get our family from a rubbish living status. Thanks for your support and I hope you are proud of me...because I am proud to have you both as my parents! THANK YOU!

Anyways, about these requests, its really hard to handle them especially if they are too many and most of them are songs sung by women...and worse is that I've just heard the song for the first time. WAAAAAAAH! What am I going to do!?

Watch Glee Season 2

This is another remarkable update of this video blog. I have been hooked up with this Musical-Comedy Series called 'GLEE' and I have been posting their episodes here at RABSING.COM! So far, it has really gained more visitors and followers aside from being part of the TOP 10 Most Emerging Influential Blogs for 2010. This has been an overwhelming achievement and I am very thankful for everyone who believed and supported this music video blog.

Rabsing.com will be celebrating its 1st year on January 12, 2011 and I will try my best to improve this site every now and then. I might to doing a contest as well.
