Wooot! The Ryan Cayabyab Singers will be having their concert in my beautiful hometown, Dumaguete!!! I can’t wait!!! I will definitely go…I hope the tickets are still available though…

Since its inception in 2007, the Ryan Cayabyab Singers (a.k.a. RCS) has been making great waves in the Philippine music industry. Their album, “Ryan Cayabyab RCS,” was released in November of 2007 and their songs made it to the airwaves immediately. They have been performing not only in the local music scene in the Philippines, but also in South East Asia and recently the United States in cooperation with and benefit of Gawad Kalinga.
I got the chance to meet and talk with Mr. Ryan Cayabyab a couple of months ago during a press launch of Star Factor where he is one of the judges.

From 180 applicants, 36 where hopeful to be part of The Ryan Cayabyab Singers. There were 18 who persevered, but only 7 were chosen! From strangers to A Powerful Vocal Group!!! A 2008 Awit Awardee, Best R&B and the Best Performance by a new Group, I present to you Anton Antenorcruz, Anezka Alvarez, Poppert Bernadas, Celine Fabie, Erwin Lacsa, Kaich Tiuseco and Miguel Mendoza as The Ryan Cayabyab Singers in Dumaguete.
Wish I can come home to watch them! Do they have a schedule in Bacolod?
